The society's diverse membership includes writers, editors, illustrators, printers, publishers, educators, students, engineers, and scientists employed in a variety of technological fields. With more than 20,000 members worldwide, STC is the largest professional organization serving the technical communication profession. To join the Rocky Mountain Chapter, you must join the STC. Although most of our members live and work in the metropolitan Denver area, we are geographically diverse. Many members live in the Fort Collins and Boulder areas, and some live as far away as Grand Junction. The physical boundaries of the Rocky Mountain Chapter are Laramie, Wyoming, to the north, the Douglas/El Paso county line to the south, and the Colorado state lines to the east and west.
